Great stay over Christmas and New Year. Enjoyed walks by the river and fells.

Lots to do and enjoyed indoor climbing. Wonderful, relaxing 2 weeks.

The house was great, spacious, newly renovated, clean. Ranjan was so nice in advance of our stay, sending us information and tips. She also left us great food which we enjoyed very much. We were in a great location to then explore the Lake District. Kendal was also a nice town. I would have loved to stay longer to be able to enjoy the house and the garden even more.

Such a lovely place to stay and Ranjan is so accommodating!!! A great location, with the local village being only a short walk away and a close drive to Windermere! The breakfast hamper was a lovely touch, and went down a treat! We would definitely recommend to stay here and will be coming back! Thanks for the lovely stay.

This is a beautiful gem, a real little find. Peaceful location in reasonable walking distance of the town centre, and if your feeling energetic up to the castle. Spotlessly clean, amazing attention to detail. Ranjan is a very attentive host, tips on places to visit and local places to eat. This is now in my favourites and will return. Stayed with a friend as we we're attending a Yoga course, and it was a perfect place to relax and chill out. 5 Stars Great sorry need to replace with Excellent.

Really good location for exploring the lake district. The photos really don't do this place justice, excellent cleanliness and Ranjan was really helpful throughout our stay. Bed was really soft and comfy and the breakfast was delicious.

My colleagues and I travelled to The Lake District to carry out a work trip. We just needed a place to sleep and relax, but we received so much more! Ranjan's place exceeded our expectations in terms of aesthetic, cleanliness and amenities. We wish we could have stayed longer and it really made us feel at home! Would defo recommend and even go again!

Ranjan's place is a sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle, but near to many places to eat. Very clean with all the mod cons. Amazing shower. We had breakfast in the conservatory. Ranjan really makes you feel welcome and at home.
